Greetings! Iām glad you found me.
My name is Saleha (prounouned SAH-la-ha) (she/her).
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker with experience providing therapy, clinical supervision, training, and consultation for individuals, families, and organizations. I speak English (native speaker) and Spanish (non-native speaker).
My work is grounded in an understanding of intersectional identity and a commitment to healing justice. My clinical practice is informed by client-centered, attachment and trauma theories within an ecosystems model.
I am a mother to two young children and care fiercely about supporting the wellbeing of parents. I am also a musician, a dancer, and a gardener, all things that help me to understand the ways our bodies can hold and release trauma and how movement, the arts, and connection to nature can support our healing.
Some of my past work has included:
Providing bilingual (Spanish) therapy with individuals, couples and families.
11 years of experience working in schools as a school social worker, therapist, outreach worker, and social-emotional learning (SEL) coordinator specializing in working with immigrant and refugee families, queer and gender expansive students, and students acute trauma histories.
Working as a housing advocate in homeless shelters and housing programs for unaccompanied youth and adults.
Facilitating individual and group reflective practice with educators.
